Meaghan Mackey, LMSW earned her Bachelor Degree of Sociology in 2013 at The State University of Purchase College and then completed her Master of Social Work Degree from New York University in 2015. Upon graduation she was extended an offer of employment at the private psychiatric hospital that she had done her internship and worked there for the next three years. During her time at the hospital, Meaghan was able to work with a wide variety of different mental health issues and populations. Her youngest client was 5 and her oldest was 76. In 2018 Meaghan and her family moved to Wichita and she has been working in the school district helping to identify kiddos who are in need of mental health treatment. Meaghan has experience working with individual therapy, couples therapy, adolescents, anxiety and children disorders as well as dual diagnosed autism spectrum disorder/developmental disabilities and mental health issues. Meaghan works hard to create a safe, judgement free space for clients to feel welcome and ready to engage in treatment. Meaghan is available in the late afternoon/evening hours.
